According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of July 6, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 49,043 COVID-19 cases, 21,703 people recovered, 1,262 patients died. During the 24 hours, 543 new cases have been confirmed.
The number of registered active cases as of July 6 is 26,078 people. The largest number of active patients per 100,000 population was registered in Chernivtsi (289.8), Lviv (206) and Zakarpattia (180.5) regions.
Now 4,087 people are undergoing inpatient treatment. There are 103 people having severe symptoms and undergoing treatment with the use of artificial lung ventilation machines. A total of 13,046 people needed hospitalization, 413 patients needed to undergo mechanical ventilation treatment.
In total 3,550 cases among children and 7,030 cases among healthcare workers were recorded. 35,997 patients have been undergoing outpatient treatment.
A total of 722,513 samples in Ukraine were tested using PCR method and 270,131 samples using ELISA method. During the 24 hours, 6,696 samples were tested using PCR method.

Volyn region – 2,752 cases (847 recovered);
Dnipropetrovsk region – 1,115 cases (977 recovered);
Donetsk region - 681 cases (173 recovered);
Zhytomyr region – 1,468 cases (950 recovered);
Zakarpattia region – 3,375 cases (1,001 recovered);
Zaporizhia region – 597 cases (444 recovered);
Ivano-Frankivsk region – 2,700 cases (1,1173 recovered);
Kirovohrad region - 659 cases (561 recovered);
Kyiv – 5,602 cases (1,809 recovered);
Kyiv region – 2,789 cases (1,512 recovered);
Lviv region – 6,301 cases (965 recovered);
Luhansk region - 84 cases (64 recovered);
Mykolaiv region - 461 cases (310 recovered);
Odesa region – 1,883 cases (827 recovered);
Poltava region - 324 cases (274 recovered);
Rivne region – 4,190 cases (2,079 recovered);
Sumy region - 321 (248 recovered);
Ternopil region – 2,101 (1,275 recovered);
Kharkiv region – 2,371 (1,224 recovered);
Kherson region – 196 (182 recovered);
Khmelnytsky region - 842 (594 recovered);
Chernivtsi region – 5,018 (2,218 recovered);
Cherkasy region - 670 (517 recovered);
Chernihiv region - 576 (145 recovered).
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
