Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 23, in Ukraine, there have been officially confirmed 10,945 (491 children out of this number, 447 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1165 persons, 124 patients died, 4143 persons recovered. There have been conducted 28374 testing (25253 using the PCR method and 3121 using the ELISA method).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 635689 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 291060 people recovered;
  • 11075 people died;
  • 4243600 testing have been conducted.

The largest number of confirmed cases in the last 24 hours was registered in Kyiv city (1212 cases), Dnipropetrovsk region (1093), Kyiv region (870), Zhytomyr region (812), Zaporizhia region (642).

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
