Аccording to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of September 23, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 184,734 COVID-19 cases, 81,670 people recovered, 3,705 patients died. A total of 2,102,377 samples in Ukraine were tested using PCR method.

During the 24 hours, 3,497 new cases have been confirmed and 1,769 patients have recovered.

As of September 23, coronavirus disease was registered:

Vinnytsia region – 5,455 cases;

Volyn region – 7,132 cases;

Dnipropetrovsk region – 4,394 cases;

Donetsk region – 2,634 cases;

Zhytomyr region – 5,191 cases;

Zakarpattia region – 9,343 cases;

Zaporizhia region – 3,149 cases;

Ivano-Frankivsk region – 12,811 cases;

Kirovohrad region – 1,024 cases;

Kyiv – 20,335 cases;

Kyiv region – 8,148 cases;

Lviv region – 19,045 cases;

Luhansk region - 814 cases;

Mykolaiv region – 2,643 cases;

Odesa region – 12,130 cases;

Poltava region – 1,630 cases;

Rivne region – 11,459 cases;

Sumy region – 3,280;

Ternopil region – 12,069;

Kharkiv region – 15,908;

Kherson region – 868;

Khmelnytsky region – 5,049;

Chernivtsi region – 13,448;

Cherkasy region – 3,238;

Chernihiv region – 3,537.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
