Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 24, in Ukraine, there have been officially confirmed 13,141 (744 children out of this number, 579 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection. The number of active cases makes up 376,493.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1,447 persons, 169 patients died, 13,882 persons recovered. There have been conducted 67,626 testing (44,445 using the PCR method and 23,181 using the ELISA method).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

758,264 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;

369,054 people recovered;

12,717 people died;

4,607,034 testing have been conducted.

The largest number of confirmed cases in the last 24 hours was registered in Kyiv city (1,735), Odesa region (1,147), Kyiv region (975), Zaporizhia region (947 cases), and Sumy region (727).

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
