According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of May 14, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 7,562 (336 children out of this number, 216 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection. The number of active cases makes up 263,227.
Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 918,164 people have been vaccinated. On May 12, 2021, 21,587 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 620 people got CoviShield vaccine, 4,425 – CoronaVac vaccine, 3,702 – Comirnaty vaccine, 12,840 - AstraZeneka.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 2,195 persons, 287 patients died, 15,958 persons recovered. There have been conducted 79,452 testing (33,889 using the PCR method, 14,118 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 31,445).
