
Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection
According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of July 10, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 52,043 COVID-19 cases, 24,800 people recovered, 1,345 patients died. During the 24 hours, 819 new cases have been confirmed. A total of 773,831 samples in Ukraine were tested using PCR method.
As of July 10, coronavirus disease was registered:
- Vinnytsia region – 2,060 cases;
- Volyn region – 2,932 cases;
- Dnipropetrovsk region – 1,137 cases;
- Donetsk region - 751 cases;
- Zhytomyr region – 1,512 cases;
- Zakarpattia region – 3,734 cases;
- Zaporizhia region – 610 cases;
- Ivano-Frankivsk region – 2,915 cases;
- Kirovohrad region - 670 cases;
- Kyiv – 5,990 cases;
- Kyiv region – 2,940 cases;
- Lviv region – 6,763 cases;
- Luhansk region - 90 cases;
- Mykolaiv region - 467 cases;
- Odesa region – 2,108 cases;
- Poltava region - 330 cases;
- Rivne region – 4,454 cases;
- Sumy region - 332;
- Ternopil region – 2,174;
- Kharkiv region – 2,577;
- Kherson region – 203;
- Khmelnytsky region - 881;
- Chernivtsi region – 5,096;
- Cherkasy region - 725;
- Chernihiv region - 592.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
