
Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection
According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of March 9, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 3,261 (160 children out of this number, 54 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection. The number of active cases makes up 183, 628.
Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 19,118 people have been vaccinated, of whom 19,118 have received 1 dose, and 0 have completed vaccination (received 2 doses).
On March 8, 2021, 1,171 people were vaccinated against COVID-19, of which 1,171 persons were vaccinated with 1 dose, vaccination was completed (2 doses) - 0 people.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1837 persons, 76 patients died, 975 persons recovered. There have been conducted 18 207 testings (13101 using the PCR method, 1674 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 3 432).
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
1410061 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
1199229 people recovered;
27204 people died;
7154442 testing have been conducted.
