Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection
According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of April 15, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 16,427 (628 children out of this number, 383 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection. The number of active cases makes up 411, 341.
Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 419 297 people have been vaccinated. On April 14, 2021, 15 744 people were vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 4,229 persons, 433 patients died, 11,148 persons recovered. There have been conducted 119,615 testings (51,344 using the PCR method, 20,017 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 48,254).
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- 1,903,765 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
- 1,453,766 people recovered;
- 38,658 people died;
- 8,822,097 testings have been conducted.
