
Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection
According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of April 13, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 11,680 (501 children out of this number, 366 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection. The number of active cases makes up 404, 793.
Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 388,404 people have been vaccinated. On April 12, 2021, 10,135 people were vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 2,334 persons, 457 patients died, 14,019 persons recovered. There have been conducted 83,975 testings (38,684 using the PCR method, 19,284 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 26,007).
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- 1,872,785 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
- 1,430,234 people recovered;
- 37,758 people died;
- 8,716,400 testing have been conducted.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
