
Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection
According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of October 12, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 265,454 COVID-19 cases, 114,410 people recovered, 5,015 patients died. During the 24 hours, 4,420 new cases have been officially confirmed.
A total of 2,602,635 samples in Ukraine were tested using PCR method. During the 24 hours, 903 patients have recovered.
As of October 12, coronavirus disease was registered:

Volyn region – 9 791 cases;
Dnipropetrovsk region – 8 967 cases;
Donetsk region – 5 699 cases;
Zhytomyr region – 8 464 cases;
Zakarpattia region – 10 935 cases;
Zaporizhia region – 5 589 cases;
Ivano-Frankivsk region – 15 379 cases;
Kirovohrad region – 1 262 cases;
Kyiv – 27 693 cases;
Kyiv region – 11 309 cases;
Lviv region – 22 788 cases;
Luhansk region – 1 852 cases;
Mykolaiv region – 4 708 cases;
Odesa region – 16 770 cases;
Poltava region – 4 621 cases;
Rivne region – 14 696 cases;
Sumy region – 7 280;
Ternopil region – 15 922;
Kharkiv region – 25 186;
Kherson region – 1 985;
Khmelnytsky region – 9 011;
Chernivtsi region – 16 488;
Cherkasy region – 5 668;
Chernihiv region – 5 621.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
