Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection
According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of March 10, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 6,377 (309 children out of this number, 263 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection. The number of active cases makes up 184,099.
Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 23,480 people have been vaccinated, of whom 23,480 have received 1 dose, and 0 have completed vaccination (received 2 doses).
On March 9, 2021, 4,362 people were vaccinated against COVID-19, of which 4,362 persons were vaccinated with 1 dose, vaccination was completed (2 doses) - 0 people.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 1904 persons, 219 patients died, 5687 persons recovered. There have been conducted 64,126 testing (33,904 using the PCR method, 15,116 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 15,106).
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- 1416438 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
- 1204916 people recovered;
- 27423 people died;
- 7188346 testing have been conducted.
