Аccording to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of October 1, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 213,028 COVID-19 cases, 94,398 people recovered, 4,193 patients died. A total of 2,308,415 samples in Ukraine were tested using PCR method.

During the 24 hours, 4,069 new cases have been confirmed and 2,038 patients have recovered.

As of October 1, coronavirus disease was registered:

• Vinnytsia region – 6,308 cases;
• Volyn region – 8,194 cases;
• Dnipropetrovsk region – 6,088 cases;
• Donetsk region – 3,557 cases;
• Zhytomyr region – 6,088 cases;
• Zakarpattia region – 9, 918 cases;
• Zaporizhia region – 4,128 cases;
• Ivano-Frankivsk region – 13,837 cases;
• Kirovohrad region – 1,127 cases;
• Kyiv – 23,155 cases;
• Kyiv region – 9,279 cases;
• Lviv region – 20,590 cases;
• Luhansk region – 1,091 cases;
• Mykolaiv region – 3,270 cases;
• Odesa region – 13,789 cases;
• Poltava region – 2,345 cases;
• Rivne region – 12,554 cases;
• Sumy region – 4,435;
• Ternopil region – 13,767;
• Kharkiv region – 19,128;
• Kherson region – 1,168;
• Khmelnytsky region – 6,188;
• Chernivtsi region – 14,605;
• Cherkasy region – 4,165;
• Chernihiv region – 4,254.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
