Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine Olha Stefanishyna met with the delegation of the European Security Organization GLOBSEC.
Ukraine's Government's top official expressed gratitude to the delegates for their personal visit to Ukraine after the recent massive russian missile attacks and welcomed the opening of the GLOBSEC office in Kyiv.
Olha Stefanishyna informed the GLOBSEC members about Ukraine's progress in reforms and called for cooperation to advance Ukraine on its path to the EU and NATO.
Special attention was paid to the financial support of Ukraine. "In the context of a full-scale war, such support is critically important. This is a financial package for the survival of the country," the official stressed.
The participants of the meeting discussed the importance of preserving international attention to Ukraine, as well as the development of a strategic vision of the security architecture of Europe, in particular the launch of strategic discussions on this issue in the expert community.
GLOBSEC President Róbert Vass noted that members of his delegation would continue to do everything possible to support Ukraine on the way to victory over the aggressor. He also stressed that GLOBSEC would direct its efforts to deepen understanding of Ukraine, its progress, and achievements among international partners.
The members of the delegation that arrived to Kyiv are the Fourth President of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović; former Prime Minister of Poland, Chairman of the GLOBSEC Ukraine Support Council Jan Krzysztof Bielecki; former Minister of Finance of the Slovak Republic Ivan Mikloš; Foreign Policy Advisor to the Office of the President of the Slovak Republic Jana Kobzová.
