“Government engages in creating conditions to make the youth vibrant and independent. We want to overcome a situation when almost above 50 % of young people haven’t traveled outside the region in the last three years. Mobility has a positive impact on both the economy and labor productivity,” said Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk. He added that such a program would encourage awareness of the diversity of regions and the development of civil society organizations.

In the first stage, the legal framework and concepts of the Youth Mobility Program will be developed. As of April this year, pilot projects will be launched between several regions of Ukraine.

A program that will increase youth's independence, resilience and capacity will be fully operational by the end of the year.

It should be noted that youth mobility is included into the list of priorities of the Cabinet of Ministers' Action Program, which was approved in September 2019.

Now they have been detailed - for each of the 78 objectives of the Program, a concept and indicators have been published to measure their achievement.

The Government is making its work even more transparent - the document has been put up for discussion before its official approval. Anyone interested in each of the concepts can give feedback.
