Communications Department of the Secretariat of the CMU, posted 14 February 2020 12:30

New parents will spend 20 minutes instead of 2 weeks on filling documents for 10 government services related to childbirth. Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk made such a statement during a presentation of the E-malyatko program.

"If earlier people had to stand in the queues for 11 agencies, to submit 37 documents - now it takes just 15 minutes and only 1 application, which can be submitted right in the hospital. It's convenient, fast and accessible to everyone. Similar services in some countries are combining only 3-5 services. We are the first country to combine 10 services at once, " Oleksiy Honcharuk stressed.

The Prime Minister congratulated one of the young couples in the maternity clinic who became parents on Valentine's Day and presented a birth certificate to them.

"Our goal is convenient services for citizens to save time and resources and not waste their time on bureaucratic procedures. Ukrainians who have just become parents should devote their precious time to the baby, rather than spending it in queues at administrative institutions. The launch of the E-malyatko program- it is the beginning of a new form of relations between citizens and the State", the PM emphasized.

E-malyatko is being launched in a test mode and gradually will cover all Ukraine – it is currently available in Kharkiv, Lutsk, Vinnytsia and Kryvyi Rih. From now on, 14 maternity clinics joined the project in Kyiv. E-malyatko service will soon be rolled out on the Diia(Action) portal.
