"Speed, quality, and comprehensive approach are the factors of cooperation with the UN that we need today. Have presented the report Rapid Damage and Needs Assessment (RDNA). I emphasized the need to coordinate work on emergency recovery plans. Outlined the Ukrainian authorities' approach to providing housing for IDPs and familiarized them with the urgent needs of communities, especially in the de-occupied regions," noted Oleksii Chernyshov.

The Minister reported that the parties had agreed to synchronize efforts in preparation for the heating season.

"We need constant coordination and exchange of information on providing communities with the necessary equipment in case of emergencies. We need long-term solutions to urgent needs — and we hope to strengthen cooperation with the UN," stressed Oleksiy Chernyshov.

As was reported, earlier the Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksii Chernyshov took part in the Special Session at the Meeting of the G7 Urban Development Ministers and informed on the readiness of the ministers of the G7 countries to support international efforts to restore and rehabilitate the destroyed cities of Ukraine.
