Oleksiy Chernyshov begins working visit to the Czech Republic
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov has begun a working visit to the Czech Republic, participating in URBIS 2025 in Brno – a leading exhibition and conference platform dedicated to innovative solutions for “smart cities.”
As part of the event, the Deputy Prime Minister visited the Ukrainian stand, Contact Ukraine 2.0, a key communication platform for dialogue between Ukraine and the Czech Republic in the areas of digitalisation, reconstruction, and sustainable urban development. Participants included representatives of municipalities, academic institutions, and innovative companies from various regions of Ukraine.
“I am once again convinced that our country has great potential to become a successful post-war state. Such international platforms showcase our innovation, readiness for cooperation, and integration into the European space,” Oleksiy Chernyshov emphasised.
Additionally, the Deputy Prime Minister met with the Mayor of Brno, Markéta Vaňková. Oleksiy Chernyshov expressed gratitude for the Czech Republic’s support for Ukraine, its clear stance in condemning russian aggression, and for providing favourable conditions for over 20,000 Ukrainians who have found refuge in the city since the start of the full-scale invasion.
