Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov met with representatives of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies led by President Kate Forbes, who also witnessed the morning’s hostile attack on Kyiv.

The two sides discussed the current challenges facing Ukraine, as well as potential cooperation in supporting Ukrainians abroad and assisting with the reintegration of those Ukrainian citizens who have decided to return home.

“It is important that our people have their needs met no matter where they are,” said Oleksiy Chernyshov.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the partners for their continued solidarity with Ukraine.

“We will continue to work together to expand humanitarian aid and protect the rights of Ukrainians in this difficult time,” Oleksiy Chernyshov concluded.
