Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov held a working meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to Ukraine, Martin Åberg.

The parties discussed potential cooperation between the Ministry of National Unity of Ukraine and the Swedish government and its agencies. In particular, they explored the establishment of a Unity Centre to assist Ukrainians in adapting, learning, working, and maintaining ties with Ukraine.

The Deputy Prime Minister outlined the mechanism for cooperation and the necessary steps to implement this initiative.

Additionally, Oleksiy Chernyshov informed the Ambassador about the Ministry of National Unity’s achievements, key priorities, and plans.

It is worth noting that since the start of the full-scale invasion, Sweden has provided temporary protection to over 60,000 Ukrainians forced to leave their homes due to the war.

“We are grateful to Sweden and its people for their solidarity and unwavering support for Ukraine,” the Deputy Prime Minister stated.
