Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov held a working meeting with Anica Djamic, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Croatia to Ukraine.

The parties discussed the support Croatia provides to displaced Ukrainians. According to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Ukraine (UNHCR Ukraine), almost 30,000 our fellow citizens who were forced to leave their homes due to the war are currently living in Croatia.

The interlocutors also addressed a wide range of issues related to further cooperation: from sharing experience in combating disinformation to supporting projects of the Ministry of National Unity of Ukraine aimed at helping Ukrainians abroad.

"Special attention was paid to Croatia's experience in supporting its citizens outside the country. The country has a state institution that deals with these issues. This is a valuable experience that should be taken into account in our work," said Oleksiy Chernyshov.

At the end of the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of National Unity of Ukraine thanked the Ambassador and Croatia for helping Ukraine and Ukrainians in this difficult time and noted that only through joint efforts our countries would have an opportunity to achieve much more.
