Oleksiy Chernyshov met with Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain

Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov met with the Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain José Manuel Albares today.

The parties discussed the situation in Ukraine, the issue of temporary protection for Ukrainian citizens, as well as strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Oleksiy Chernyshov emphasised the importance of initiatives aimed at integrating Ukrainians in Spain. He noted that the country is actively working in this direction, and cooperation is only getting stronger.

‘Spain has been supporting us since the first days of the full-scale invasion, and our people have found shelter and protection here,’ said the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of National Unity of Ukraine.

Following the meeting, Oleksiy Chernyshov thanked Spain for its humanitarian, military, financial and political assistance to Ukraine.
