During his working visit to Warsaw, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov met with the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Sejm of Poland Paweł Kowal.

One of the key topics of the meeting was support for the Ukrainians living in Poland. Almost a million of our citizens have been granted temporary asylum in Poland. The officials discussed mechanisms for their integration while maintaining their national identity.

They also agreed to intensify joint projects that will help support the national unity of Ukrainians.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine thanked the Polish side for its continued solidarity and support in difficult times.

"Poland continues to be one of our biggest partners in providing humanitarian aid to Ukrainians both abroad and at home. I am grateful to Paweł Kowal, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Polish Sejm, for his openness to dialogue. I am confident that by working together we will strengthen the partnership between our countries," said Oleksiy Chernyshov.
