It is time for consolidated solutions for European security: Denys Shmyhal at the Support Ukraine Summit

The unity of Ukraine and Europe is the key to common security and economic development. This was emphasised by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal at the Support Ukraine Summit.

"As long as we stand shoulder to shoulder, nobody and nothing can break us," the Head of the Ukrainian Government said, adding that our country has been, remains and will continue to be an integral part of the larger European space.

He also stressed that Ukraine held the key to Europe's energy independence, independence from critical raw materials and the potential to create a major production and logistics centre for the entire continent.

The Prime Minister noted that our country was paying a heavy price in the fight against russia.

"With our resistance, we have given Europe time to unite and act. Time for concrete steps to protect the continent from disaster. This resource must not be wasted in any way," Denys Shmyhal believes. 

According to him, it is time to adopt consolidated decisions for European security.

"Ukraine is doing everything we can to protect our common home. We will continue to do so. We hope that Europe and the world will respond to the challenge of time with dignity. It will respond with action, leadership and solidarity. The time has come for a strong Europe, where a strong Ukraine will take its rightful place," the Prime Minister stressed.
