Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Oleksii Chernyshov spoke to journalists of the Polish TV channel TVP. In particular, they talked about Polish-Ukrainian cooperation, investments in Ukraine and its future.
"Our generation will write a new history of Ukraine and Poland. I am convinced that the preconditions for our cooperation are common goals and values, as well as mutual respect and support," Oleksii Chernyshov stressed.
The Minister noted that after the war, Polish companies investing in Ukraine will help rebuild the country. According to him, over the past two decades, Poland has developed tremendously, and the experience of Polish companies will be extremely useful for the reconstruction of Ukraine.
In addition, the Minister for Communities and Territories Development spoke about the work of the Ministry to prepare the country for the heating season. He noted that as a result of hostilities in Ukraine, housing and other infrastructure, including utilities, had been severely damaged. The Ministry for Communities and Territories Development is currently assessing the extent of the damage and using the data collected to develop a recovery plan. Therefore, among the urgent issues that the Ministry is working on today is the restoration of heat and water supply infrastructure in the occupied territories.
