Decentralization reform is designed to simplify relations between the state, communities and their residents. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal in a statement at the All-Ukrainian Forum "Ukraine 30. Decentralization".
The Head of Government noted that last year the number of administrative service provision centers (CASPs) had almost doubled and there are almost 900 of those throughout Ukraine.
"Our goal is 1,500. A person should have easy access to the CASPs, where more than 130 administrative services are provided currently. We will continue to increase this number and put them into operation at the same time to make them more convenient," said the Prime Minister.
Meanwhile, Denys Shmyhal stressed that communities will in any case continue to receive funds under the subvention for the development of CASPs. This year, the total budget of the program is 231 million hryvnyas.
