The best format for monitoring nuclear safety will be an IAEA and the UN permanent mission at the ZNPP, says German Galushchenko
The permanent mission of the IAEA and the UN at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant should include both specialists in the field of nuclear energy and military experts, with the exception of representatives of russia.
This was emphasized by the Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko in an interview with the Financial Times.
The situation at the russian-occupied Zaporizhia NPP is a matter of security for the whole of Europe and requires international monitoring until it is fully de-occupied and transferred under the control of the legitimate owner - the Government of Ukraine.
"The presence of international experts would create obstacles for the shelling of the station by the russians," the Minister emphasized.
