As of March 2, 2022, more than UAH 6 billion in equivalent was transferred to the special account opened by the National Bank to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, more than UAH 253.5 million in equivalent came from abroad in foreign currency.

Of these funds, the National Bank has already transferred more than UAH 1.6 billion to the military, including:

• for the needs of the National Guard of Ukraine - UAH 450 million (February 26, 2022);
• for the needs of the National Police of Ukraine - UAH 150 million (February 28, 2022);
• for the needs of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine - UAH 1,025.3 million (February 28, 2022 - UAH 182.3 million; March 1, 2022 - UAH 675 million; March 1, 2022 - UAH 168 million).

Currently, the balance on the special account is UAH 4.53 billion.

It should be reminded that the National Bank has opened a special multi-currency account to help the Ukrainian Army. One can transfer funds both by details and with use of a payment card.
