Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Mykola Solskyi held a regular online meeting with Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic Jozef Bíreš.

The parties discussed cooperation in the agricultural sector between Ukraine and Slovakia. In particular, the action plan for the export of Ukrainian agricultural products proposed by Ukraine to the European Commission.

Jozef Bíreš noted that Slovakia had been actively assisting Ukraine, including the agricultural sector, since the beginning of russia’s full-scale invasion. According to the Slovak minister, bilateral understanding on the issue of agricultural exports is important. According to him, Slovakia is already studying the Ukrainian action plan and believes it can be adopted.

For his part, Mykola Solskyi thanked for the support Slovakia provides to Ukraine.

The ministers agreed to finalise the plan as soon as possible, as well as to coordinate the situation and maintain constructive relations between the countries.
