
My mission is to serve the state and achieve success in the reforms we have launched, says Volodymyr Groysman
The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman will remain in politics, take part in the parliamentary elections, but with the purpose not just to stay in politics, but to be able to make decisions that will allow to prolong the reforms the incumbent Government has embarked on as well as provide an opportunity to yield the result. Volodymyr Groysman told in an interview with the Ukrayina TV channel.
"I decided not to just stay in politics, but to serve the state and trigger the development (country)", said Volodymyr Groysman. "I will participate in the Parliamentary election, and I want to establish my political force, to shape a team of people with expertize ... The political force will be called the Ukrainian strategy... For me, the state is of paramount importance."
The Head of Government stressed that among the reforms that should be prolonged and completed - the reform of the healthcare sector, further transformations in the pension system and the rest of the innovations that have been launched over the past three years. In his opinion, most of the changes are the beginning that needs to be enhanced. It is incorrect to assess it now. Although, in fact, certain positive results are already in place. So, in the sector of first aid treatment, for instance, wages of doctors are improving. Ukrainians have concluded contracts with doctors. The program Available Medicines is in effect the reform of emergency medicine sees the start. The network of cardiology centers is further growing.
In the pension system, according to Volodymyr Groysman, the retirement age has been preserved, several pension recalculation stages have been passed - including automatic recalculation.
"We are well aware how to resolve issues that have accumulated in Ukraine for decades", added Volodymyr Groysman.
