Under the chairmanship of the Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksii Chernyshov, inspections in 16 regions of Ukraine were conducted by monitoring groups to overcome COVID-19. Specialists inspected vaccination centers, hospitals, educational institutions, public transport, catering and entertainment facilities, etc. The groups comprise specialists from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development and the State Service for Food Safety and Consumer Protection.

"Specialists of the monitoring groups inspected more than half a thousand objects in 16 regions - in the east, south, west and north of Ukraine. As a result, problematic issues were identified, in particular, regarding non-compliance with the quarantine restrictions of the red zone, which must be urgently eliminated. The monitoring groups have received full information on each of the inspected regions and are promptly preparing personalized recommendations for local governments and regional administrations," Oleksii Chernyshov stressed.

It should be noted that during the meeting of the Working Group there have been approved the schedule of visits to the regions of the following groups, which will monitor the following areas:

• inspection of medical facilities regarding the provision of medical oxygen;

• checking the payment of surcharges to medical workers;

• checking the total number of beds occupied and ready for deployment in healthcare facilities;

• checking the proper functioning of mobile hospitals (if any in the region);

• verification of compliance with the restrictions set for the red zone of epidemiological danger;

• checking of vaccination points of the population for proper functioning and queues;

• checking the effectiveness of the work of raid groups formed from the National Police of Ukraine, the State Service on Food Safety and Consumer Protection and sanitary doctors to monitor compliance with quarantine restrictions;

• with the participation of representatives of the National Police (at stationary posts), checking public and / or route transport for the necessary documents (vaccination passports, PCR results or rapid tests) of passengers and drivers;

• verification of awareness and response of the regional state administrations to the situation in the region;

• studying the protocols of the regional commissions of the TES and the Emergency Situations, as well as the meetings of the Emergency Response Headquarters, recording the frequency of summoning of regional commissions.

We will remind, on October 23 at meeting of the commission of TES and the Emergency Situations the decision on resumption of work of monitoring groups in all regions of Ukraine was adopted.
