  • International assistance: gas workers of frontline regions receive 20 tonnes of equipment from Czech partners

    Under the close coordination of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, Ukraine received from the Czech gas transmission company GasNet Sluzby, s.r.o. 5 cargoes of humanitarian aid with a total weight of more than 20 tonnes.

    The gas equipment has already been delivered to companies in Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia regions.

    The aid was provided with the assistance of the Energy Community Secretariat through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM).

    “The enemy does not stop targeted attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure. We are grateful to Czech donors for the equipment that will help gas workers in the frontline regions to carry out repairs and ensure the operation of critical infrastructure facilities,” said Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko.

    It should be noted that a total of 13 cargoes weighing 53.8 tonnes have been delivered from the Czech Republic during the full-scale invasion, including current and voltage transformers, passenger cars, gas equipment and other necessary equipment.
