Acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Olha Trofimtseva, Minister of Finance of Ukraine Oksana Markarova and the World Bank Country Director for Belarus, Moldova, and Ukraine Satu Kahkonen signed the  Accelerating Private Investment in Agriculture Program which stipulates for granting $200 million to Ukraine.

The Program is aimed at increasing the efficiency of Ukraine's agriculture,  providing a more targeted support policy for the industry,  increasing transparency in the use of state-owned agricultural land, and increasing the access of small and medium-sized farms to exports.

"The purpose of the Program is to mitigate some restrictions on the growth of private sector participation, in particular small and medium-sized enterprises, in the agricultural market of factors of production and the market of goods of Ukraine",Olha Trofimtseva underscored.
