Ministry of Digital Transformation: Maintaining strategic partnership with Switzerland for Ukraine's digitalization

Switzerland is a major partner of the Ministry of Digital Transformation. Thanks to the support of partners, Diia and dozens of other important services have been launched, ranging from digital documents to online business registration and eMaliatko.

Also, due to the assistance of Swiss partners, Online Marriage was successfully introduced, one of the most ambitious digital services, which proved that getting married via smartphone is now a reality. This is especially relevant for defenders, as it eliminates the need to visit government offices and wait in queues. The entire process, from proposal to signing the marriage certificate, is available in the Diia app.

The innovative nature of Online Marriage was also recognized by TIME magazine, which included the service in its list of the 200 best inventions of 2024 in the Apps & Software category. This annual ranking highlights innovative solutions that are changing people's lives around the world.

Switzerland is helping Ukraine develop not only individual services, but entire digital platforms. In 2023, with the support of the EGAP program implemented by the East Europe Foundation, Diia.Education was relaunched, and the Mriia team received support to create an educational ecosystem.
