The Government has adopted a resolution on the use of the Platform for the rapid creation and management of state registers. The teams of the Ministry of Digital Transformation and the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection are working on an innovative solution – the Platform for the deployment and maintenance of state electronic registers. The tool will allow ministries and government agencies to create and manage public registers in a quick and convenient manner.
The basis of any digital state is electronic registers with high-quality data and fast exchange between different government agencies. Currently, there are more than 450 state registers in Ukraine. 80% of them are technologically outdated and vulnerable to cyberattacks.
The platform for deploying registers will become the basis for digital transformation. All data will be stored in registers in an orderly manner, which will speed up the launch of online services and digitalisation in general.
The Register Platform will allow not only creating new registers, but also technically redesigning and gradually transferring outdated registers. All changes will be recorded and made only through business processes. This makes it impossible to make illegal data changes.
Also, the development of registers on the Platform does not require large teams or high-level specialists. The development tools are easy and quick to learn. Developers will be provided with training and advice.
The Platform has already been tested and will soon be launched for many public authorities. In the future, Ukraine will also be able to share its experience in implementing the Platform with other countries that are actively going digital.
