Ukraine has started mass production of Peklo missile drones. Today, the first batch of several dozen units was handed over to the Ukrainian Defense Forces with the participation of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

“It is extremely important that our defenders receive such modern Ukrainian-made weapons. Now the task is to further increase their production and use,” the Head of State said.

According to Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Herman Smetanin, Peklo drones are a new type of Ukrainian-made weapon.

“This is the result of the ingenuity and hard work of Ukrainian gunsmiths. It is a new type of weapon, the first in its class. The drone missile was created by a Ukrainian manufacturer from scratch in record time - within a year. The product has already been successfully used in combat,” noted Herman Smetanin.

The Peklo drone missile is capable of reaching a speed of 700 km/h over a distance of up to 700 km.

The Peklo is not only mass-produced, but also constantly improved. Work is constantly underway to increase the level of protection of the product from the effects of electronic warfare, improve performance and strike accuracy. New types of warheads are being developed to expand the list of possible targets,” added the Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine.
