Zakarpattia residents, who in September or October will shelter forced migrants free of charge for a month or longer, will receive one-time assistance in the amount of UAH 4,000.

Payments will be made from the regional budget within the framework of the regional Turbota [Care – ed.] program. The relevant order was signed by the head of the RMA (Regional Military Administration) Viktor Mykyta.

It is worth noting here that the Government, with the assistance of the Ministry for Reintegration of the Temporary Occupied Territories, concluded an updated Memorandum with the Ukrainian Red Cross Society. The initiative will increase funding for compensation to people who provided temporary housing to internally displaced persons within the framework of the Prykhystok [Shelter – ed.] program.

Starting from October 1, the owners of housing who accommodated IDPs will receive UAH 900 instead of UAH 450 for each such person per month.
