Ministry of Finance: In August 2022, local budgets received UAH 6.2 billion in transfers from the general fund of the state budget

Since the beginning of 2022 (as of September 1, 2022), the Government of Ukraine, in accordance with the budget legislation, has ensured interbudgetary transfers to local budgets to the tune of UAH 92.7 billion, which is 83% of the allocations provided for in the budget financing targets, in particular:

- the basic subsidy was transferred in the amount of UAH 10.9 billion, or 100% of the budget targets;

- the educational subvention was transferred in the amount of UAH 67.3 billion, or 100% of the targets.

In August 2022, local budgets received UAH 6.2 billion in transfers.

Also, local governments have a monthly reverse grant, which is not transferred to the state budget in wartime conditions, in the amount of UAH 899 million.

The balances of funds on the accounts of local budgets and budgetary institutions under general and special funds for January - August 2022 increased by UAH 76.4 billion and as of September 1, 2022, amount to UAH 132.8 billion.

Fund balances have grown in all regions of Ukraine.
