The Ministry of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine has set clear deadlines for selection of projects , which are financed from the State Regional Development Fund (SRDF). This was stated by Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Building and Housing and Communal Services  Lev Partskhaladze.

"Important amendments have been made regarding projects being implemented for funds received from  the State Regional Development Fund.  Firstly, there wil be clear deadlines for selecting projects in the regions, which will accelerate their implementation on the ground. Secondly, the minimum estimated cost of the projects submitted for financing by the  SRDF has been determined. For example, a sum worth  5 million UAH will be allocated for the construction or reconstruction of schools, technical re-equipment of hospitals, overhaul of gardens. The SRDF  offers an opportunity to the regions to implement socially important projects - schools, kindergartens, hospitals, centres for administrative service provision. Therefore, I urge the local authorities to be responsible to , because security, comfort and quality of life of people depend on the qualitative implementation of these projects", the Deputy Minister underscored.
