Ministry of National Unity coordinates work on human dimension events at URC 2025
The Ministry of National Unity of Ukraine is coordinating work on human dimension events of URC 2025, the fourth International Ukraine Recovery Conference to be held through 10-11 July in Rome.
This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov.
He noted that this week the Ministry's team had been actively working with international partners in the context of preparations for URC 2025.
The Deputy Prime Minister reminded that the Conference would include 9 panels bringing together representatives of the Governments, civil society and the Ukrainian diaspora in a dialogue to preserve and develop human capital.
As part of the preparations for the Conference, Oleksiy Chernyshov today held an online meeting with Ylva Johansson, Special Representative for Ukrainian issues within the EU, who is also a participant of the panel "Engagement, Return and Reintegration of Ukrainians".
"I had the opportunity to personally congratulate Ms Johansson on her appointment to this important position, which is a clear signal from the EU of its long-term support for Ukraine at the institutional level," said the Deputy Prime Minister.
The parties discussed further steps of cooperation, including joint work to protect the interests of Ukrainians in the EU and the development of a network of Unity Hubs in Europe.
At the end of the meeting, Oleksiy Chernyshov invited Ylva Johansson to visit Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine and thanked her for her continued support of the Ukrainian people.
