Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Digital Transformation introduce the sharing of digital documents for state authorities of civil registration
We continue to work on the implementation of innovative services to ensure the comfort of citizens when receiving administrative services.
The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine together with the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine are introducing a new service — sharing of digital documents in Diia for the state registration of civil status acts. From now on, information interaction between the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Digital Transformation regarding the verification of e-passports and e-passports for traveling abroad with the possibility of receiving their electronic copies has been introduced in the State Register of Civil Status Acts.
Citizens, when visiting the bodies of state registration of civil status acts when ordering and receiving administrative services, can present an electronic passport in the Diia application and share a digital copy of the document.
"We are pleased to assure that sharing will save visitors’ time and simplify the procedure of providing extra papers. Now you don't need to worry if you forgot the document at home or you are on the way to the state registry of civil status, looking for where to make a photocopy of the paper document. The Diia application provides an opportunity to share copies of digital documents, as well as to check their validity in a few clicks. Simple, convenient and without paper copies or their photocopies. Integration with the Diia makes processes more convenient," said Serhii Orlov, Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine.
