Minister of Defence of Ukraine General of the Army of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak held talks with UK Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Ukraine Ms Judith Gough.

“We discussed the prospects of further bilateral defence cooperation in the nearest months of 2018,” he said.

Ms Gough introduced new UK defence adviser Ms Linda Smith who will provide advise to Ukrainian defence ministry on reforms especially in project management, defence and budget planning, as well as anti-corruption policy.

The Minister praised the contribution of ex-adviser Phil Jones to the successful cooperation and efforts he paid into defence reform.
