Ministry of National Unity and International Centre for Migration Policy Development sign memorandum of cooperation to support Ukrainians abroad

On 2 April, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov met with representatives of the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD), led by the Head of the Eastern Europe and Central Asia Region, Radim Zak.

The parties agreed to expand cooperation, including the presence of ICMPD in Ukrainian Unity Centres in countries with the largest number of Ukrainian citizens.

“This will allow us to more effectively coordinate assistance, support integration and protect the rights of Ukrainians abroad. In addition, the joint work will cover the development of migration policy, educational and cultural initiatives, as well as engaging the potential of the diaspora in the restoration of Ukraine,” said Oleksiy Chernyshov.

The partnership between the Ministry of National Unity and ICMPD was formalised by the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation.
