Oleksii Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, met with Anna Bjerde, World Bank Managing Director for Operations.
The talks focused on the preparation of an updated assessment of the damage and recovery needs of Ukraine (RDNA4). The document will serve as the basis for the formation of priority reconstruction and development projects, with the involvement of public and private funding. Particular attention was paid to the issue of public investment management.
"We support the World Bank's initiative to create a mechanism for developing economically viable investment projects that meet the country's goals - the Ukraine Project Preparation Framework (PPF)," said Oleksii Kuleba.
During the meeting, the parties discussed support projects for the frontline regions and the scaling up of measures to protect energy infrastructure. Oleksii Kuleba thanked the World Bank for its continued support of Ukraine in times of war.
As a reminder, according to the RDNA3 preliminary assessment, Ukraine already needs USD 486 billion for recovery over the next decade.
