Last week, entrepreneurs received 720 soft loans totaling UAH 2.9 billion from authorized banks under the State Program Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%, including 563 loans from public sector banks for UAH 2.1 billion.
Since the beginning of 2024, entrepreneurs have received 17,647 loans worth UAH 66.3 billion under the Program, including 13,458 loans worth UAH 35.1 billion from public sector banks.
During the period of martial law in Ukraine, 61,789 loans worth UAH 243.6 billion were issued (including 46,492 loans worth UAH 125.5 billion by public sector banks), of which as of September 30 this year:
- UAH 26.26 billion - for investment purposes;
- UAH 64.2 billion - for working capital financing;
- UAH 39.79 billion - loans to agricultural producers;
- UAH 22.56 billion - for the processing of agricultural products;
- UAH 57.56 billion - for anti-war purposes;
- UAH 19.18 billion for lending in the high war risk zone.
A total of 96,611 loan agreements worth UAH 333.2 billion have been signed since the start of the Program, including 66,968 agreements worth UAH 152.1 billion by public sector banks.
The Program is implemented by the Entrepreneurship Development Fund (EDF), whose sole participant is the Government of Ukraine represented by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine, which coordinates all key aspects of the Fund's activities.
Under the State Program Affordable Loans 5-7-9%, the EDF has entered into cooperation agreements with 46 banks. The state continues to make all necessary compensation payments to businesses under loan agreements concluded under the Program.
On September 13 this year, the Government supported the amendments proposed by the Ministry of Finance to improve the processes of providing financial state support to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), which is especially important in the context of a full-scale war. First of all, it concerns the development of the state programs Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%, Affordable Financial Leasing 5-7-9%, and Affordable Factoring.
