Last week, 491 loans totaling UAH 1.27 billion were issued under the State Program Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%.

In total, since the start of the "5-7-9%" program, representatives of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have received 28,150 loans from authorized banks in the amount of UAH 74.9 billion.

Of those:

• UAH 8.99 billion - for investment purposes;
• UAH 43.26 billion - as anti-crisis loans;
• UAH 22.64 billion were issued as refinancing of previously received loans.

One of the priorities of the Ministry of Finance is state support for the development MSMEs, which is carried out, inter alia, due to the program Affordable Loans at 5-7-9% initiated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The draft State Budget for 2022 provides for UAH 3 billion (including an Affordable Mortgage at 7% program). This will allow providing support for the development of another 20,000 entrepreneurs.

The Government Portal recently published the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of October 21, 2021, № 1106 "On Amendments to the Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of January 24, 2020, № 28 and № 29". The document was developed by the Ministry of Finance to attract even more participants to the state programs Affordable Loans at 5-7-9% and Affordable Mortgage at 7%. The decree also introduced a state financial leasing program for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).

The 5-7-9% program is implemented by the Entrepreneurship Development Fund, which has currently concluded cooperation agreements with 40 banks on interest compensation terms. The program also promotes the market of business lending services.
