Ministry of Finance in May ensured the transfer of UAH 19.7 billion in interbudgetary transfers to local budgets

In May 2025, the Ministry of Finance, in accordance with budget legislation, ensured the transfer of UAH 19.7 billion in interbudgetary transfers to local budgets, which is 91.6% of the appropriations allocated for May, including:
- Basic subsidies transferred in the amount of UAH 2.1 billion (100% of the budgeted appropriations);
- Additional subsidies transferred in the amount of UAH 3.0 billion (82.8% of the budgeted appropriations).
The balance of funds in the accounts of local budgets and budgetary institutions for general and special funds as of 1 June 2025 amounts to UAH 159.6 billion, which is UAH 39 billion more than at the beginning of 2025.
With these resources, local self-government bodies continue to have the ability to finance priority needs at the local level.
