Ministry of Finance ensures UAH 10.6 billion in transfers to local budgets in August

In August 2025, the Ministry of Finance, in line with budget legislation, ensured the transfer of inter-budget grants to the general fund of local budgets amounting to UAH 10.6 billion, fully meeting the funds allocated from the state budget for August, including:

• Basic grant: UAH 2.1 billion (100%)
• Additional grants: UAH 1.4 billion (100%)

As of 1 September 2025, the balance of funds in the accounts of local budgets and budgetary institutions for both general and special funds stood at UAH 175.5 billion, an increase of UAH 54.9 billion compared to the start of 2025.

These resources enable local authorities to continue funding priority needs at the local level.

As a reminder, the Ministry of Finance has introduced an analytical tool, the “dashboard,” to enable real-time analysis of local budget financial resources and enhance their transparency.
