In August, the Ministry of Finance made inter-budget transfers to local budgets in the amount of UAH 10.6 billion in accordance with the budget legislation, which is 107.1% of the allocations envisaged in the budget plan, in particular:

• the basic subsidy in the amount of UAH 1.8 billion (100% of the allocation plan);
• additional subsidies in the amount of UAH 0.8 billion (99.9% of the allocation plan).

As of 1 September, the balances on the accounts of local budgets and budgetary institutions under the general and special funds amounted to UAH 180.4 billion, which is UAH 6.6 billion more than as of 1 August.

With these resources, local governments will be able to continue to finance their priority needs at the local level.
