Ministry of Economy: Government removes four non-operational industrial parks from register

Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, posted 14 May 2025 13:31

On 13 May, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to remove four industrial parks from the Register of Industrial Parks of Ukraine due to the absence of participants, i.e., industrial producers, for three years since their inclusion in the register. These parks have not conducted any economic activity aimed at developing the territory or attracting participants and other entities.

However, removal from the Register does not mean the liquidation of an industrial park. It may continue to operate but without access to state support or incentives.

“Industrial parks are an effective tool for economic growth. But to function efficiently, they must comply with legislative requirements. The lack of participants indicates a lack of interest from industrial enterprises in these parks. That said, removal from the Register is not a final verdict: a park can reapply for inclusion after six months, having addressed its shortcomings,” said Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Vitaliy Kindrativ.

The following industrial parks have been removed from the Register:

  • “iPark” (Odesa region, Vyzirka village, established in 2014);
  • “Yavorivskyi” (Lviv region, Yavoriv District, established in 2017);
  • “Lannivskyi” (Poltava region, Lanna town, established in 2017);
  • “E40 Industrial Park” (Kyiv region, Bucha District, established in 2021).

As of now, there are 97 industrial parks in the register, 37 of which are new, established during 2024–2025.

As of the reporting period, 25 factories were either built or under construction in industrial parks. Over 100,000 square metres of industrial real estate had been constructed to accommodate new or relocated enterprises, with approximately 200 MW of electrical capacity available for connection.
