Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture: Special investment agreement signed for the reconstruction of non-residential premises
On 31 October, a special investment agreement was signed between the Government of Ukraine and the limited liability company FEEDNOVA CENTRE.
The company is implementing an investment project for the reconstruction of non-residential buildings on a 10.1-hectare land plot in Zvenyhorodka district, Cherkasy region. Upon completion of the works, a modern production complex will be established here for processing livestock waste to produce high-protein feed additives and animal fats. It is planned to create more than 80 new jobs.
The volume of investment for the project amounts to UAH 649.7 million (EUR 14.4 million). The state is providing support in the amount of UAH 172 million, which covers:
- exemption from import duty on new equipment;
- exemption from VAT on the import of equipment and components;
- exemption from corporate profit tax;
- compensation for costs of constructing engineering and transport infrastructure – roads, communications networks, electricity, gas, water, and heat supply.
“Such investment projects demonstrate that the combination of state support, private capital, and strategic vision is forming a new industrial foundation for Ukraine. Even during the war, investors are choosing our country to establish high-tech production. This is not only about jobs and taxes – it is a transition from a raw-materials model to an economy of innovation and deep processing, which is the basis for sustainable recovery,” noted the Minister of Economy, Environment and Agriculture of Oleksii Sobolev.
